A soft smile would cover the surprise she felt. Her heart fluttering, she would rest a hand against her heart as she bowed her head to the other.
“I’m grateful to be alive, because it meant I was able to meet you. I will stay safe, as long as you do the same, my lady.”
A soft chuckle would answer the other. Everything felt so light, just to hear these words, that the whole rest of the day could have been horrid but this one moment...more than made up for it.
“Goodness, my lady, if you keep this up, you’re going to win me over completely~”
